The Department of Pharmacy, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Abbottabad Campus, Dawaa Society, organized the Oath-Taking Ceremony of Batch XIV (FA-21), Session SP-26, at the Haroon Rashid Auditorium on Thursday July 2, 2026, marking an important milestone in the academic and professional journey of future pharmacists.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Zakir Hussain, Campus Director, CUI Abbottabad Campus, as the Chief Guest. Also present were Prof. Dr. Khalid Rauf, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, faculty members, representatives from the Coordination and Marketing Cell, and students of the Department of Pharmacy.

The event commenced with a welcome address by the Head of the Department, followed by an introduction to the ceremony by members of the Dawaa Society. Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Zakir Hussain highlighted the significance of professionalism, ethical conduct, and social responsibility in the pharmacy profession. He emphasized that pharmacists play a vital role in safeguarding public health and encouraged students to uphold the highest standards of integrity, compassion, and accountability throughout their professional careers.
